École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS)

École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS)

Specializing in applied teaching and research in engineering and technology transfer to companies, ÉTS trains engineers and researchers who are recognized for their practical and innovative approach. ÉTS is a constituent of the Université du Québec network, and ranks among the 5 largest engineering schools and faculties in Canada. It is home to approximately 8,000 students at the 3 levels of university studies.

ÉTS is the only engineering school in Québec to offer undergraduate programs that are designed specifically for technical college graduates who wish to pursue a university education. At the graduate and PhD levels, ÉTS offers Master's and Doctoral programs in a wide range of engineering disciplines, along with Specialized graduate degree programs (DESS) and Certificate programs intended for those who wish to acquire more focused training.

The study programs at all levels are geared toward the acquisition of extremely concrete knowledge that equips students with a unique skill set that is highly valued by companies and organizations.

Since its founding, ÉTS has continued to pursue its mission, which is deeply embedded in all of its activities: meeting the needs of industry by training engineers who possess not only advanced theoretical knowledge, but also practical knowledge.
