AQIII - Association québécoise des informaticiennes et informaticiens indépendants

Founded in 1993, AQIII is a network of 1,800 independent IT consultants and entrepreneurs, and is one of the largest pools of IT freelancers in Canada. AQIII hosts a unique business networking community for its members, where they benefit from various professional tools, services and peer networking. AQIII's actions target entrepreneurial skills and help IT freelancers to preserve their freedom of action as micro-entrepreneurs. The number of AQIII members increased by 158% over the past five years and some 3,200 IT contracts were posted on the AQIII website over the last 12 months. AQIII is present in the Greater Montreal, Quebec City, Saguenay and Ottawa/Gatineau regions.

CEFRIO is a centre facilitating research and innovation in organizations with information and communication technologies (ICTs). It brings together more than 150 university, industry and government members as well as 74 associate researchers and guests working in the social and organizational innovation service. Almost 67% of CEFRIO’s activities are financed by its own projects and the ministère du Développement économique, de l’Innovation et de l’Exportation, its main financial partner. CEFRIO’s mission is to contribute to making Quebec a digital society using technologies as a lever for social and organizational innovation.

Défi Montréal (DefiMTL.com) est le plus grand programme d’accélération d’entreprises innovantes avec 250 gradués et plus de 60 entreprises soutenues chaque année pour le développement d'affaires, la gestion et le financement.

Les cohortes de Défi Montréal se déroulent sur trois mois avec une formation accélérée, un accompagnement personnalisé avec un groupe de coaches professionnels et une forte visibilité lors d'événements (notamment M-Style.ca) et sur les médias sociaux.

Soutenue par la communauté des entrepreneurs et des investisseurs du Grand Montréal à partir des bureaux situés au CRIM, les participants de Défi Montréal multiplient par cinq leur taux de succès et réduisent de moitié leur période de développement.

VIVA is a joint Simon Fraser University (SFU) and University of British Columbia (UBC) research institute founded in 2010 to develop VA expertise in industry, government, and university organizations in Canada and to promote collaborative VA research.
