Alexandre Petrenko appointed co-chair of the Program Committee for ICTSS 2010, the 22nd IFIP International Conference on Testing Software and Systems

Alexandre Petrenko, CRIM’s lead researcher and distributed systems analysis team director, has been appointed as a co-chair of the Program Committee for the 22nd edition of ICTSS, an international conference on testing software and systems organized by the International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP). The event will be held in November 8-10, 2010 in Natal, Brazil.

ICTSS is a forum for researchers, developers, testers, and users to review, discuss, and learn about new approaches, concepts, theories, methodologies, tools, and experiences in the field of testing of general software and systems. Topics cover various aspects of testing, model-based testing, functional, interoperability, performance, conformance, and security testing, testing of networks, web services and applications, business information systems, embedded and real-time software.

Mr. Petrenko specializes in distributed system analysis and testing. The author of nearly 200 research publications, he regularly gives invited talks around the world. In addition to ICTSS, this year he is a member of Program Committees of other conferences such as ICST in France, MBT in Greece, Forte in the Netherlands, and MIIT in Italy.

ICTSS 2010 stems from the merger of the 22nd IFIP International Conference on Testing of Communicating Systems (TESTCOM) and the 10th International Workshop on Formal Approaches to Testing of Software (FATES).
