CRIM stands out at an international facial analysis competition

CRIM is proud to announce that the expertise of its Vision and Imaging team distinguished itself at an international facial analysis competition.
 
Nearly 60 participants registered for this competition. Among 7 teams who submitted predictions, the team VISI.CRIM ranked among the winners! See the results
 
The CRIM team, composed of Mohamed Dahmane, Samuel Foucher, and David Byrns, won the 3rd place for the "Smile and gender" task of the "ChaLearn Looking at People and Faces of the World: Face Analysis Workshop and Challenge", a colocated event of the 29th IEEE on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR2016), who took place July 1rst in Las Vegas, USA.
