MSSS/RTSS Certifications

CRIM has been chosen to partner with the ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux (MSSS) certification testing* of information systems that pass through Québec's health communication network, the Réseau de télécommunications sociosanitaire (RTSS)**.

Benefits for suppliers

  • Analysis via architecture and system implementation protocols to detect problems that would appear only under stress or in WAN mode
  • A network configuration guide for clients
  • Systematic and rigorous testing to ensure compliance with the safety standards framework
  • Identification and diagnosis of bottlenecks
  • Possibilities for improvement

Benefits for hospitals

  • Quality assurance, particularly for WAN network deployment
  • Assistance in proactive, not reactive, network planning
  • Reassurance that applications comply with the safety standards framework
  • Forecasting the impact on the response time of the applications already in place

* CRIM certification testing is essentially based on two ISO 9126 subcharacteristics: security (functional capacity subcharacteristic) and performance (efficiency subcharacteristic).
Réseau de télécommunications sociosanitaire and RTSS are official names belonging to the Gouvernement du Québec.
