This intensive 14 day course presents in detail the processes and techniques related to the implementation and management of a structured approach to IT service support as defined by the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL®). This course prepares the student for the APMG certification exam for ITIL® Master (IT Service Management Director) accreditation. This course is based on version 2 of the ITIL® framework.

Prerequisites

  • ‘ITIL® Foundation’ international certification in IT Service Management from LCS, EXIN or ISEB (refer to courses ITI391 or ITI392)
  • Experience in systems management and implementation
  • Read the following ITIL® publications published by OGC before the course: (1) Service Support, and (2) Service Delivery

Target Audience

This course is for people involved in the development of an IT Service Improvement program or who will be taking on the role of architect for the implementation of one or more IT Service Management processes based on the ITIL® framework.

Objectives

  • Mastery of the benefits and stakes related to the implementation of each ITIL® process;
  • Recognize and communicate how the organization must evolve to implement a framework of process oriented Service Management;
  • Understand implementation considerations for each ITIL® process;
  • Apply the concepts to a case study;
  • Confidently pass the APMG certification exam thanks to your subject knowledge.

ITIL V.3 credits

Successful completion of the course and exam will give the student 17 ITIL V3 credits.
