Steven Chamberland

Steven Chamberland, Director of Administration and Resources at Polytechnique Montréal since 2018 and professor at the Department of Computer and Software Engineering since 2001, is an active researcher in the field of computer and mobile networks. He previously held a position as Director, Network Architecture at Bell Canada and as professor at the Department of electrical engineering at École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS).

From 2005 to 2010, Dr. Chamberland was the Director of the Bell Chair in Networks Architecture and a founding member of the Groupe de recherche en réseautique et informatique mobile (GRIM) which is currently the most important Canadian research centre in that field.

Dr. Chamberland received the Electrical Engineering degree (1994) and the Ph.D. degree in operations research (1998) from Polytechnique Montréal.
