Fehmi Jaafar is a researcher at the Centre de recherche en Informatique de Montréal (CRIM) and an adjunct professor at Concordia University in Edmonton.

Dr. Jaafar holds a PhD in computer science from the Department of Computer Science and Operational Research at the Université de Montréal.

Dr. Jaafar is specialized in cybersecurity research, notably at Queens University and Polytechnique Montréal. Dr. Jaafar is interested in cybersecurity in the Internet of Things, in the evolution, security and quality of software, and in the application of machine learning techniques in cybersecurity. 

He worked as a researcher in the Research and Development and Defense Division at Ubitrak Inc.
