INO Inaugurates its Business Place in Montreal, in the CRIM building

Published June 7, 2018

Montréal, June 7, 2018 - Canada's flagship optics-photonics institute, the National Optics Institute (INO) recently inaugurated its Montreal office, in the presence of Mr. Jocelin Dumas, Deputy Minister, ministère de l'Économie, de la Science et de l'Innovation and Mr. George Arseneau, Director General, Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions.

With 30 years of expertise in optics, photonics and imaging in the service of Quebec and Canadian industries, INO is getting closer to its Montreal partners with the establishment of this office, located on the premises of the Computer Research Institute of Montreal (CRIM). Thanks to this strategic location and a business development team dedicated to the metropolis, INO will be able to provide technological support to businesses in the region, particularly to support them in the transition to the era of industry 4.0. Customer proximity and intimacy being at the heart of INO's concerns, it was essential to offer services to Montréal businesses by being on the spot, at the heart of the action.
