Edith Galy joined CRIM as a computational linguist in January 2019.
 
Holding a D.E.A. (Master) in descriptive and automatic theoretical linguistics (Lattice Laboratory, University of Paris 7), Edith has pursued doctoral studies as part of the syntax and semantics research team at the University of Toulouse 2, focusing on the semantic relationships revealed as a result of automatic distributional analysis of large corpora.
 
She has experience in the field of aeronautics on controlled language and automatic text categorization issues.
 
Her areas of expertise are semantics, lexicology and syntax in the field of natural language processing. She is particularly interested in the analysis of emotions and lexical resources.
