Michel joined CRIM in October 2017 as a senior data scientist.

Following a decade of academic research focusing on quantum hydrodynamics and nanoscience, Michel decided to apply his data analysis skills to a more business-oriented set of problems.  After some exciting consulting engagements with startups, Michel joined the global enterprise Gartner, world leader in IT advisory services, as a data scientist. 

His interests are split between applying machine learning to real-world business situations and tinkering on hardware or other DIY projects.

Michel joined CRIM’s research team in order to pursue his desire to accelerate Canadian business' successes by leveraging all their data in a smart and efficient way.
