About
Capsana is a social organization owned by the ÉPIC Centre Foundation, which is linked to the Montreal Heart Institute, and by the PSI Foundation. Its mission is to help people take charge of their own health. Founded in 1988 under the name ACTI-MENU, Capsana is a Quebec-based company dedicated entirely to the promotion of health and healthy lifestyle habits, as well as the prevention and management of chronic diseases.
The initiator of well-known social campaigns such as the Health Challenge, the Quit to Win! Challenge and Smoke-Free Family, Capsana works with the general public, municipalities and families. It is also present in the workplace, where it implements health promotion programs, in addition to producing tools for the clinical environment, including information publications for patients.
