The role of research and technology organizations
The Computer Research Institute of Montreal is a Research and Technology Organization (RTO). RTOs are non-profit organizations whose primary mission is to produce and bring together many types of knowledge, skills and infrastructures to conduct research and development activities in collaboration with public and industrial partners of all sizes. These activities aim to achieve technological and social innovations and system solutions mutually contributing to their economic, social, and political impacts.
