Mrs. Vasantha Narasimhan, MBA, President of Simhan Research Associates (SRA) Inc., has over four decades of experience in strategic planning, performance analysis, program evaluation, and business development. She has completed more than 260 studies for public and private organizations across Canada, spanning science, health, medical, and technology sectors.

She has collaborated with leading firms such as KPMG, Gartner Group, and Telesat, and contributed to national and provincial research initiatives through Health Canada, PHAC, ISED, CRIM, TMG, and DRDC (Defence Research and Development Canada). Her work focuses on evaluating emerging technologies, shaping market and business growth strategies, assessing regulatory frameworks, and analyzing the economic and cybersecurity impacts of innovation programs.

Vasantha has led multidisciplinary teams and applied a broad spectrum of methods, including literature reviews, interviews, surveys, and focus groups—supported by both qualitative and quantitative analyses and modeling.

She taught strategic business research and methodologies as a part-time professor at the University of Ottawa and has seven years of private sector experience managing innovation projects in space, digital, and green technologies, with an emphasis on commercialization strategies.

She is deeply committed to supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and startups in Canada, with a focus on long-term growth and resilience through data-based decisions.
