The Société québécoise d'information juridique (SOQUIJ) publishes case law from Quebec courts and organizations, and with its AZIMUT databases offers a high value-added research tool.

Founded in 1976, SOQUIJ's mission is: 1) to collect, analyze, disseminate and publish legal information from courts and institutions; 2) to present this information in the most complete, up-to-date, organized and easily accessible form; and 3) to offer unrivalled expertise, user-friendly research tools, comprehensive content and top-notch customer service, for the benefit of its clients in the legal, business and labor communities, as well as the general public.

In so doing, it fulfills the mandate entrusted to it by the Quebec National Assembly.

SOQUIJ reports to the Quebec Minister of Justice, and is self-financed through the sale of its products and services.
