An industrial innovation center (CII)
Also known by their English name Research and Technology Organisation (RTO), Industrial Innovation Centres such as CRIM are not-for-profit organizations whose primary mission is to generate, combine and bring together various types of knowledge, skills and infrastructures in order to carry out a range of research and development activities in collaboration with public and industrial partners of all sizes.
These activities are aimed at achieving technological and social innovations and system solutions of mutual contribution to their economic, societal, and political impacts.
