As an applied research center, CRIM acts as an innovation catalyst for Québec companies. With the support of the Ministère de l’Économie, de l’Innovation et de l’Énergie du Québec, we assist organizations of all sizes with their technology projects.

Ethical, reliable and useful AI
CRIM is actively committed to ethical, responsible and sustainable AI in response to the major societal challenges posed by artificial intelligence:
Participation in the major public consultation on AI regulation led by the Quebec Innovation Council.
Contribution to the Confiance IA consortium, to develop tools and methods for designing reliable, robust and fair AI systems.
Collaboration with the University of Ottawa’s Information Integrity Lab to counter misinformation amplified by generative AI.
