Coffee morning: AI lunch with Marc Queudot
Starting at 8:30 a.m., curious professionals and artificial intelligence enthusiasts are invited to kick off the day over coffee with Marc Queudot, Practice Leader, Language Science and Technology at CRIM, as part of our AI Breakfasts.
Under the evocative title “Beyond ChatGPT: what language processing can really do for your business”, this meeting will highlight real-life feedback from automatic natural language processing (NLP) projects.
Marc will share his lessons learned, discuss the essential criteria for launching a language project in the generative era, and explain how to evaluate its success. The event will also provide the perfect opportunity to network with CRIM experts and other industry professionals.
In the last few years, we’ve often received customers who want ChatGPT for a specific application. In the afternoon: CRIM from the inside out
We invite you to an exclusive presentation of our heritage projects at 3pm, which highlight technological memory and history while serving as a testing ground for our researchers.
These in-house projects are much more than historical showcases: they enable our teams to hone their expertise, test new technologies, discover new approaches and actively contribute to scientific research in Quebec. All this, while keeping a close eye on the realities of companies and organizations in the client environment.
It’s a unique opportunity to dive into the heart of CRIM, from the inside, and meet the experts who shape these projects of memory and innovation.
Late afternoon: CRIM Annual General Meeting
At 5 p.m., CRIM’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) takes place. All members are invited to take part in this important democratic exercise, which will include :
- Filing of the 2024-2025 financial statements ;
- Appointment of the independent auditor ;
- Presentation of the annual report ;
- Board elections 2025-2026 ;
- And an update on future strategic directions.
The AGM will be held face-to-face, further strengthening the links between members, management and the Board of Directors.
Summer evening: BBQ and celebration on the CRIM terrace
At 6 p.m., the day will continue in a completely different, but equally engaging atmosphere: a festive BBQ on the CRIM terrace. Members, partners, customers, collaborators and friends are expected to join us to celebrate the arrival of summer, in a spirit of relaxation, fun and collaboration.
The icing on the cake (or sauce on the skewer): this evening will also be an opportunity to unveil a foretaste of CRIM’s 40th anniversary celebrations! A delightful surprise awaits guests, in a warm and lively setting.
