The Solutionneur is a powerful and accessible solution for the automated generation of master schedules for Québec schools. It is available to all high schools in the province. Since 2021, the Solutionneur has been adapted for elementary school use and is being used by a few schools in five school service centres as a pilot project.
The Solutionneur allows the automatic generation of student and teacher schedules. It takes into account all the constraints specific to Québec schools and can be integrated into the business applications used in school service centres.
Developed jointly by CRIM and the Centre de services scolaire de Laval, it is the only automated scheduling tool adapted to the particularities of the Québec school system. The software uses state-of-the-art mathematical approaches and software implementations to address the high complexity of the problem.
