With the rise of internet and social media marketing, the way advertising space is sold and managed is changing dramatically. Cyril Chaib, president and founder of the firm Dialekta, recently launched the MediaSigma product, which automates the purchase of ads based on factors such as weather, Nasdaq fluctuations, sports scores, and the intensity of web traffic. This product is the result of a close collaboration between Dialekta and CRIM’s Emerging Technologies and Data Science team.
CRIM provided Dialekta with technological support and shared some of its expertise through proof of concepts in data analysis.
CRIM has been involved on several fronts to enable Dialekta to diversify its activities by bringing to market MediaSigma, an advertising strategy product. The company has benefited greatly from CRIM’s technical and strategic assistance, as well as its project management advice. MediaSigma has also managed to secure several critical grants thanks to CRIM. Dialekta’s achievements have garnered several awards in the United States and Canada, and have enabled the company to grow dramatically and win contracts with major customers.
